Camille Macdonald

Camille Macdonald is the founder of Dope Accounting Solutions LLC and has been a part of the cannabis industry since 2017. Prior to entering the cannabis space, she worked in the banking industry where she developed a strong understanding of debits/credits, account reconciliation, cash controls, federal compliance, and other operational systems that she took with her in her future endeavors.

Before opening her own accounting firm, Camille gained industry experience by working for a handful of license-types ranging from: producers, wholesalers, and retailers. During her time with these companies, she became a master at metrc, point of sale systems, CRMs, and developed an in-depth understanding of the OLCC Rules and Regulations. Camille has always been passionate about helping others - and seeing that the cannabis space is well underserved when it comes to quality bookkeeping - she took the opportunity to expand and offer her expertise to additional companies who wish to prioritize their finances.

Her favorite types of projects include forensic accounting, sales tax reporting, and implementing improved internal control systems to minimize theft and maintain compliance. Aside from being a newly successful entrepreneur, she enjoys: collecting new farm animals, spa days, and weekend getaways with her husband and two daughters.
